Cycling Weekly picked up our Revenio 2 alloy bike recently to see how we’ve made an affordable bike designed for long sportives and challenge rides.
The aluminium framed Revenio 2 comes with Shimano’s ‘excellent Sora groupset’, impressive Tektro brakes and fast rolling Schwalbe Lugano tyres.
The frame is particularly highlighted by Cycling Weekly for its stiff, power-transmitting properties, with a wide down tube allowing for maximum effort to travel from the pedal cranks into speed on the road.
The geometry of the frame with its bowed top tube and slightly more relaxed positioning has been designed to reduce the strain on your neck and arms, allowing for all day comfort.
Combined with the wide 11-32 ratio of the Sora cassette giving you plenty of range for climbing means that at mile 67 you’ll still be feeling fresh.
The verdict from Cycling Weekly: “A beautifully made aluminium frame with a very competitive kit list for the price… the Raleigh Revenio 2 looks like a real contender. Get the Revenio 2 on a perfect surface and it feels like a perfect bike. 8/10.”
